Beginners: AKA bedroom rockstars
Please note that the cost you pay when you book is 50% of the full price. You’ll pay the second half after week 5
How it works A small group of people all working together to achieve the same goals. This usually means that you’ll form practice groups with your class mates, hang out after class and maybe, form a band! After week 10 you’ll get up on stage to perform what you’ve learnt to other Guitar Social students.
How the sessions run We start with 45 minutes of learning and practice and then get to work playing songs through which we can apply new skills learnt. Afterwards you can head down to our bar and hang out with your class mates.
What you’ll learn We average at about nine songs in total, often chosen by the class members. Aside from those songs you’ll have all the skills needed to play many more.
Practice requirements 10-15 minutes five times a week using our ten week practice guidance and video library.
What you already know Nothing. You’re coming in fresh. Or you may know a few chords already but need some structure adding to your learning. Get in touch if you want to discuss which level to do. We’re more than happy to jump on a call or talk via email
The Social Bit You’ll be learning with about 8-10 other musicians. The classes are fun and all about connecting with your class mates. Typically, a group of people that jam together stay together. You might find yourself hanging out in between classes, meeting earlier or staying later at our bar. One of our classes once went for drinks afterwards and all booked an African Safari together. This is how it tends to go at The Guitar Social
