Intermediates Guitar

Our online classes have been designed, planned and programmed based on thousands of hours of teaching.

Price: £130

A fun series of 4 sessions, each week exploring areas of playing that elevate the learners style, sound and range

Our groups always end up taking on their own identity and collective learning outcomes and shared areas of interest are responded to as the weeks fly by, however, commonly, an intermediate course will feature sessions on rhythm, lead playing, improvisation, funk, fingerpicking, scale work and chord variations, inversions and extensions.

There is some pre required knowledge; ability to read tab, able to form an E and A type barre chord; familiarity with most common open chords; able to recall a pentatonic scale; awareness of the note names on the sixth and fifth strings. If you have some of this, but not all of it just get in touch and we’ll help fill in some gaps before your first session

Aside from four weeks of fun jamming, you’ll be encouraged, with your group, to meet outside of class and do some practice together in preparation for an end of term gig style performance at our venue in London.

Tuesday 6.30pm – 8 pm starting 20th October and running every Tuesday for 4 weeks

Thanks to The Guitar Social , I am living my dream after years of longing to play the guitar but feeling too scared to go for it. I am loving it. The classes are so enjoyable.

The class is run by a group who really understand the principles of learning and the reasons for doing it! Also we are given sensible and realistic targets and outcomes coupled with very helpful practice schedules.
Lindsay, London
The lessons are great fun, the resources are excellent and I’m learning more than ever before. On top of that, there are loads of opportunities to get together and play with other students. Best guitar lessons I’ve ever had.
Stevie, London
The Guitar Social is unique, vibrant, edgy, always fun and uplifting. Where else could I get top quality guitar teaching alongside a jam in the park, fun Zoom guitar based games or an inspiring and sociable camping trip.
