Long-tail boat rides to stunning islands for white sand, emerald green water swimming
From £750
2-10 February 2024
Phuket, best known for it’s pearly white sand beaches and emerald green seas, but there is more to Phuket than just the stunning beaches. There’s the atmospheric old-colonial-style shops and restaurants, spectacular temples and lively nightlife.
We’ll be staying in a huge house in Rawai village on the southeast coast. Rawai Beach is known for its long-tailed boats, the Sea Gypsies Fish Market and seafood restaurants. Here we’ll spend our days adventuring to neighbouring islands, mingling at the beach clubs, relaxing in the sea and watching the beautiful sunsets.
The workshops
Details on workshop content evolve as the bookings come in-but for more specifics, please just get in touch.
The itinerary
We’ll take some exciting excursions, starting with a visit to the stunning “James Bond” island, reached by private long tail boat, followed by canoeing around the island. We’ll also learn about the incredible efforts put into looking after land’s biggest and most gentle animals at an ethical elephant sanctuary. On days when we’re not island hopping, we’ll hit the beach for swimming, kayaking and sailing, . Most days will end at Boat Avenue & Tinlay Village where we’ll eat incredible Thai street food from outdoor night markets. Some nights we’ll head to Patong area for the nightlife and others we’ll take it down a notch with a foot massage or bone cracking, limb stretching traditional Thai massage.
